This paper introduces Director Li Zhigang's clinical experience in diagnosing and treating cough variant asthma in children. It is believed that the variability of cough in children can be attributed to wind, phlegm, and deficiency throughout the entire disease process, which are all related to the five organs. Treatment focuses on the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation, emphasizes the application of wind dispersing and qi regulating drugs, and is proficient in using insect dispelling wind drugs to treat this disease. Adjustments are often made according to the local seasonal climate, individual differences, and different comorbidities of patients in Qujing, and satisfactory clinical results have been achieved.
