Literature metrology study on clinical application of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) based on ancient literatures
Objective: To organize and summarize the relevant provisions of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) based on the ancient literatures, and to summarize and analyze its clinical application.,Methods,2,Taking the 1 156 ancient Chinese medical books included in ,Encyclopaedia of,Traditional Chinese Medicine, (the 5th edition) as the search library, the relevant provisions on the relevant literatures, main treatment disease and syndrome, acupoint compatibility, treatment methods, stimulation amounts and contraindications of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) were summarized and organized, the data base was established, and the statistical analysis was conducted.,Results,2,A total of 233 relevant provisions were included, involving 53 ancient books. The main treatment disease and syndrome relevant provisions of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) were 220 items, involving 33 kinds of diseases and syndromes and including various diseases of internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology and so on. Among them, the highest frequency main treatment disease and syndrome of single point and matching other points were the spleen and stomach system disease and the heart system disease respectively. The most frequent matching acupoint of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) was acupoint Zusanli (ST36), and the matching acupoints mainly belonged to the bladder meridian of Foot-Taiyang, stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming, and spleen meridian of Foot-Taiyin. A total of 74 provisions were related to the acupuncture and moxibustion methods of acupoint Yinbai (SP1), and moxibustion was used slightly more frequently than acupuncture. The stimulation amounts of acupuncture applied at most was “acupuncture one-point and leaving three breathes”, and the stimulation amounts of moxibustion was mainly “three strokes”.,Conclusion,2,The clinical application of acupoint Yinbai (SP1) is very extensive, and the main therapeutic effect is mainly the distant treatment along the meridians. In clinical application, acupuncture is mostly shallow and one-point, and moxibustion is preferable to three strokes.
