Discussion on quantification method of cold and heat diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine based on palpation method
The palpation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a component part of “palpation” in “four-diagnosis methods”, and plays an important role in the diagnosis of TCM. Currently, the cold and heat on the various parts of human body surface of TCM palpation is mainly measured by the subjective temperature sensation of the surveyor, and lack of the accuracy of instrument assisted inspection. Through analyzing the diagnosis ideas of cold and heat palpation of TCM and considering the quantitative index of temperature sensation, the quantification method of cold and heat palpation of TCM is preliminarily proposed.
