Research progress of acupuncture and moxibustion on regulating intestinal flora
Intestinal flora is an important microecosystem of human body, which plays an important role in physiological and pathological process.Intestinal flora is helpful to ensure the normal life activities of the body, and dysbacteriosis can induce a variety of diseases. In recent years, acupuncture and moxibustion play a therapeutic role by regulating the intestinal flora, which has gradually become the hot spot of research.Studies have shown that acupuncture and moxibustion can play the therapeutic role in diseases of different systems by regulating the intestinal flora, such as digestive system, endocrine system, circulation system, nervous system and immune system, and its mechanism may be related to the regulation of Toll-like receptor(TLR) /myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88) /nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB) signaling pathway, phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K) /protein kinase B(AKT) signaling pathway, and descending pathway of bacteria-gut-brain axis.
